Val a long history of interacting with writing and literature, and when working with both beginning and experienced authors, They tailor their feedback to each individual work and author while maintaining the same level of quality. Val has extensive knowledge of and exposure to both the mainstream and speculative fiction genres, and part of their editorial feedback is based on how well a piece fits into its genre. They have a B.A. in journalism, an M.F.A in creative writing, and undergo ongoing training, In addition to editing, Val teaches a variety of classes to both teenagers and adults, researches queer literary history, and is EIC of Typehouse. https://gryphinliterary.com/

T. E. Wilderson is an African American, New Orleans-born writer, editor, and educator currently living in the Midwest. She became a certified proofreader and copyeditor in 2013. Her clients have included authors working in everything from literary fiction to speculative fiction and memoir.
